Today was a pueblo bonanza! 
We started the day by driving the sky high Wetherill Mesa Road to explore the cliff dwellings in this quieter side of the park. Day 106: Bluff, UT to Mesa Verde National Park, CO
Today was a slow day - no hikes, no tours, minimal driving.
Only a few steps from our campsite, Seamus and I took a look at the Sand Island petroglyphs this morning before breakfast. Day 105: Canyonlands National Park to Bluff, UT via Monument Valley, AZ
It was a jam packed, dusty day. We headed out from the Canyonlands towards Blanding to do a short hike called House on Fire. This hike was along a wash, with the destination being a Anasazi granary built under the rock ceiling. It was similar to the stone storehouse from yesterday but bigger. Day 104: Arches National Park to Canyonlands National Park, UT

Before departing from Arches National Park, we tried our hand at some night photography of the Milky Way. It is a designated dark sky park so we wanted to make the most of the opportunity to really see the night sky. These are the best shots from right above our campsite.

Day 103: Arches National Park, UT

Once again, our day revolved around efforts to avoid the heat as much as possible. We were up at 5:30 am to hike the most popular trail in the park to see Delicate Arch.
