Got some strange startup behavior on one of my Plus machines. I can start it but on the first screen there is video garble, the moment the second screen appears (with the floppy question) the video is OK. I already swapped boards and it is a logic board issue. Can this be some kind of screen buffering thing? Thanks in advance for any input/pointers!

Start of this project was info about the anemic TAM PSU issue from many sources, here, Tinkerdifferent, WWW and ThinkClassic back in that day.
Was working on putting together a better Initial Post, but what the heck . . . just chuck it out to the pack of wolves!

Does anyone know off-hand what happens if you simply remove the built-in LCD from an iceBook G3/600 (or disconnect it) and then connect up to an external display? I've just been trying to google that, but I just get references on using the iBook in Clamshell mode.
