The province took away bear hunting privileges for non-residents, and I have bears I want rid of. I'm leaving in July, but I can bait until then and leave some covered buckets out when I go if anyone wants to come in August for the opener.

I’m looking for some help for summer plots in the future. It looks like my 3rd attempt at soybeans is going to fail- so until I can get a drill I’m done with soybeans.
Other than soybeans I’ve tried a mix of cowpeas lablab and Milo- but went to Heavy on the Milo I guess. That was a bust as the deer wouldn’t touch it.
I have some absolutely amazing clover plots but honest...

I'll be planting winter rye this year in Minnesota and I'm wondering what is the ideal planting date to maximize winter food tonnage. I'll have beans and brassicas in the same area, but I'd like as much late winter food as possible and I'm thinking winter rye could fit in well and hopefully keep a few more deer in the area through shed season.

These are tiny blossoms. There is one that has apples smaller than a bb on it. Sorry for the bad picture. I’m thinking I can market these as mini apple trees;). Mini leaves as well.
