Paul was filled with compassion and made himself available to meet the needs of others. When truth and idolatry meet, conflict is bound to happen. We must be willing to bring the truth of God's Word  into the idolatry and the darkness that exists around us, realizing that some will respond positively to the Gospel and others may respond with retaliation. Nevertheless, be faithful and trust God for the results.
