If you keep your eyes open you can see all kinds of interesting things – and for me the most recent one was thanks to a sticker on a piece of scrapped machinery in an otherwise empty piece of land in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

A decade ago there was an abandoned ferry called ‘Queen of Melbourne’ anchored off Geelong. This is the story of how it ended up there, and where it ended up.
