Got this jacket from France recently so I've been doing some research on taking care of it since it's a bit mank, especially at the back. However I'm seeing so much conflicting information. Some people swear on mink oil while others swear it killed their family. Saddle soap is the bare minimum but it'll also disintegrate the jacket. I'm just awful confused I've been at this hour...

Due to my unique sizing requirements, (46 Tall) I seem to be prevented from purchasing "vintage' garments, although I certainly appreciate them. I don't consider myself to be a "collector", but rather one who wears the jackets in all sorts of weather. After all, my jackets are all Repros.

Appears to be the only decent and affordable B-6 available as 5* does not offer them currently, and no info if/when 5* B-6 will return. Finding one of these on the used market, due to unique sizing requirements likely a fruitless task.

John came through for me again! Beautiful example. If not for a few darned holes on cuffs it would be mistaken for NOS.
Wife was born in 1964 which is cool. Goes with my 1959 LW Foster which is from the same year I was born. Already have that 1949 55J14 Pritzker I got from Burt and waiting on John to fix up a 1942 M-422A Willis Geiger to finish up my collection.
