I got my hands on 5 Compaq laptops, one of which is the LTE Elite 4/75CX. Currently, it has no power due to cap failure on the power supply side and I also decided to take apart the floppy drive to remove what was left of the belt. Sadly, the drive is seized and the drive needs to be replaced and finding one that hasn't been used is like finding a needle in a haystack.

I know the OS doesn't have one and probably many people just used PIP to copy all the files from one disk to another essentially creating a good filesystem, but was there any utilities that attempted to check and repair the CP/M filesystem that run inside CP/M?

I am in need of a new keyboard ROM. I have a new EPROM and I bought a programmer based on the Arduino Mega. However, the parts to finish it are coming from Digikey and they are delayed. At this point I have no information about when they will ship. So, if anyone can program an EPROM for me, I would be happy to pay for it. I have the EPROM and the file.

Hello!

My VT100 died yesterday. The two amp fuse on the video board was open and so I changed it out with a glass fuse.
The fuse glows red unless I unplug the flyback transformer.
It is part number 16-16463-00
I have not been able to find any sources online.
Does anyone have this part in their junk boxes?

I have recently acquired a Microvax 3100 somewhere around a model 20. It has 4mb of onboard ram and a 4mb expansion card. VMS is only able to use a total of 4mb. It sees all 8 but says 4 is corrupt. When first booted I do not get a ram error int the first letter string.
