Kelowna’s Peter Boyd is retiring after 10 years as franchise owner of Peter’s Independent.

Boyd started as a grocer at the Capri Mall location in 1989 when he moved to Kelowna, working as the corporate manager. When the call came in 2015 for a new franchise owner, Boyd threw his name in the hat and was given the role.
