I'm looking ahead at the flaps KIA section 36, page 36-24 where it says to apply a bead along the length of the lower skin where it forms kind of a rear spar. The KIA says "Apply B2 Fuel Tank Sealant" along that whole line, but I am wondering if an easier-to-work with gasket maker like Right Stuff would do just as well.

I wish to route some avionics wire bundles and the 2 AWG power wire through the F1002L and R bulkeads. Has anyone called Vans and asked about this and what are the rules. I have contacted them but I am not sure how long it will take for them to reply. They would be drilled below the Longeron and above the F-0188 part as shown in the pictures.
