Warmoth puts truss rod access on the body and not at the headstock on the neck where it belongs. OK, fine, whatever. At least their pickguards could have that cut out as well and I wouldn't be here posting this, but I don't want to have to remove my pickguard every time I need to adjust the truss rod. Received the body today, and already got the grain filler applied and sanded. The grain is exactly what I was looking for for the semi-transparent butterscotch blonde finish. I want it pretty dark with the grain just slightly visible. I already have all my nitro from Oxford so hopefully can start spraying this weekend, but there is a little rain around so may be too humid. Still...

I am installing a warmoth superwide fatback neck on my fender american standard telecaster. I noticed when installing the neck that the fretboard overhang touches the pickguard. I checked the specs on the neck and they are perfect. The neck pocket is just shy of 11/16" and the pickguard is 0.09" (3 ply).
