The UBC Thunderbirds will have some new faces on the court come tip-off for the 2026-2027 season. The T-Birds look to welcome four newcomers to the squad; three recruits are joining out of high school, and one as a fifth-year transfer.

A UBC T-Bird has reached new heights.

On an unexpectedly rainy July morning, UBC Women's Hockey forward Cassidy Rhodes is taking part in a group training session on the field at Thunderbird Stadium. She and the rest of the contingent of student-athletes from a number of different UBC varsity teams are continuing to work hard in the middle of the offseason, focused on staying sharp ahead of next school year.

Four talented, young golfers are joining the UBC Thunderbirds for the 2026-27 season, as the program makes its first moves under newly named head coach Cory Renfrew.
