Hi, I have purchased a Sansui AU7500 and it has quite a touchy volume control.
(Each notch increases a lot and only needs a few to hit quite loud levels)
When I have checked inside.
I see it has been replaced with a Alps 100kohm pot,
But when I have had a look at the service manual it quotes a 250kohm one?
Is this ok to still use?

I've got a Stannol temperature controlled soldering station I no longer use. It's very well made - the base unit is quite heavy. It takes Hakko style tips which are readily available as chinese clones on Amazon.

New it cost about £85, am offering for £25 plus p&p (I think £8.60 for tracked 48 as over 2kg).
