You may have noticed a new process announced by Apple at the beginning of October and related to their validation process to embed fonts into apps :

I’m drawing a typeface based on Yakov Chernikhov’s construction drawings: Table 21, the “Academic” alphabet, from his book on letter construction, published posthumously in 1958.
