Interior designers, architects, housebuilders and commercial specifiers looking for distinctive finishing details can now specify the Rory Dobner tile collection at Hyperion Tiles. Bringing together Rory Dobner’s signature illustrated style with hand-decorated ceramic tiles, the Alphabet, Number, Character and Framed tiles offer an individual way to introduce decorative detail into residential, hospitality and commercial schemes.

From personalised lettering and numbers to illustrated characters and bespoke framed designs, the collection provides scope for creating memorable details that feel original and specific to a project. Used individually, grouped together or incorporated into a wider tile scheme, the designs can help create distinctive focal points across everything from kitchens and bathrooms to hotel interiors, restaurants, bars and other customer-facing spaces.

Leading tile, wall panel and flooring specialist Hyperion Tiles director Richard Skeoch explains: “Rory Dobner’s tiles offer designers something genuinely different when they are looking for those finishing details that can give a scheme its own identity. There’s real scope to use the collection creatively across both residential and commercial projects, whether that’s creating a bespoke feature, introducing lettering or numbers, or adding an unexpected decorative element to a space.”

Ways to specify Rory Dobner tiles:

Create bespoke detailing
Alphabet and Number tiles can be used to introduce initials, names, numbers or other personalised details within a residential or commercial scheme.

Use illustration as a design feature
Rory Dobner’s Character tiles can create focal points within kitchens, bathrooms, hotel interiors, restaurants, bars, utility spaces and other areas where a memorable decorative detail is required.

Consider framed tiles
Bespoke Framed Tiles provide an opportunity to create a more substantial decorative feature, particularly where a project calls for artwork-inspired detailing or a strong visual focal point.

Add personality to customer-facing spaces
In hospitality and leisure projects, distinctive tiles can be used to create eye-catching details in reception areas, bars, restaurants, bathrooms and other spaces where design and guest experience are important.

Think beyond a single tile
The collection can be incorporated alongside paint, flooring and other tile finishes, allowing designers to create layered schemes where decorative details complement the wider material palette.

Use them to create a sense of place
Illustrated or personalised tiles can help reinforce the character of a hotel, restaurant, bar or other commercial space, creating details that feel connected to the identity of the project.
