For the first time since the inception of Uthando Nes’thembu, Musa Mseleku finally opened up about the glaring absence of his father.

In an episode that aired on Thursday, 12 March, viewers watched Musa shed tears during a vulnerable therapy session in the presence of his four wives and two therapists.

When Bab’ Ndabe Myeza, a Human Behaviour Practitioner, asked Musa to share details about his background, he then brought up his father wound, a topic that remained publicly unaddressed.

Samke MaKhwela, the fifth wife of Musa, once asked MaCele why their husband hardly speaks about his father. She was then told that it is a sensitive topic for him, and it is best not to bring it up.

The South African credits TikTok user Xoliswa Dladla (@xoliswa_dla3) for the video below, in which an emotional Musa explained that his father was never around during his childhood and that he was raised by his beloved grandmother, Gog’ Flo, and his mother, Joyce.

However, even with these two women in his life, their impacts on Musa were stark. Joyce was the financial anchor of the family, while Gog’ Flo instilled life values.

This stance is evident in his decision to lead his wives to therapy sessions after the escalation of family problems.
