I have been towing my Ram 2500 behind my Fleetwood Excursion w/ a Cat 350 hp for a few years. I may soon have a choice to change my toad to a Ram 1500 or continue to pull the 2500. There is approximately 1500 lbs difference in the two vehicles. How much difference will towing 1500 lbs less make in performance, particularly longer uphill grades?
