I just sent a Miroku Charleville musket from Ozark, MO to Greenville, NC using FedEx. The shipping and $1,000 insurance charges were $167.68 !!!
The guy at the shipping desk said that if I had shipped it UPS it would have cost $20 more.
New rules and prices as of 1JAN26.
I was expecting to pay about $75 to $80.

I searched the forum on an old topic, strength of caps and accuracy.
Much back n forth on it while I dont have iron clad proof accuracy did vary with the stronger caps.

I have a Kentucky from Pedersoli that I converted to Percussion. I had been able to swap between the percussion and flint locks. But ever since getting my barrel back from Hoyt, I haven’t been able to get the vent liner to fit.
