Hi Guys, I have a Les Paul Standard 2002 re-issue 60's neck that has been working fine since purchased in 2002. Last week when cleaning the guitar the neck pickup's screws poped off of thier springs causing me to have to carefully remove it from the cavity (after removing the strings) then re-seating it. This has most likely been looked at before but thought I'd take readings of the pickup outputs of some of my guitars. I know magnets and other factors affect output too but was just interested in what the readings were compared to how they sound. Has anyone tried a Duncan Jazz bridge pickup in the neck spot? The Jazz bridge is (was? do they still make them?) 8.4K vs. 7.5 for the neck HB. I wonder how it would go with a medium/high output bridge pickup?
