After a nearly trouble free trip I think my driver window mechanism has given up.

I’ve removed the door card and the window was out of the runner. I’ve nearly got it back on, but when I try to wind the window up or down it’s crunching and not moving.

It’s currently at the bottom, is it new mechanism time?

I take it the profile and window size is the same. Is it just the lock? Are the hinges the same?
At tatton I saw at least 3 early but no late ones.

Is anyone in need of any original parts to restore single front seats ?

I’m having a clear out and this lot are left over from when I rebuilt the 75 crewcab front seats using a couple of donors.

Loads of good springs, clips, sundry fasteners and 2 good seat backs.

Hi guys,
I have a 2ltr type 4 motor with automatic transmission.
The engine was rebuilt about 2000ks ago. Gearbox at the same time.
I don’t know what to expect from my bay in terms of performance but it is terribly slow on hills and uses so much fuel. It is using about 16-17 ltrs per 100kms cruising at about 90kms per hour.
