I haven't brewed for a while and about to start up again. I have about 12 kg of grain sat in a sealed plastic fermenting bucket. It looks and smells OK, but it's been there for probably 3 years. Just wondering if it would still be OK or if I should ditch and start again. Still got leaf hops also, but I think I will just bin them.

Got a Vic beer American IPA kit on a recommendation and decided to pimp it up a bit, so last night I steeped 200 grams of Caramalt in 5l of boiling water ready for this morning.

I've just finished building a small 2 keg keezer. It had to be really small as it is living in a small storage shed which was already pretty full.

The freezer is an SIA CHF60w slimline model which measures 36W x 63D x 85H and fits two of the newer slimer style of corny kegs. I then built a large, insulated collar 21cm high and attached the lid to it. The 3/16" gas line...

I have just bottled my fourth batch, and enjoying the first two, all from kits. The first , a Festival Old Suffolk Ale and the second, a Festival New Zealand Pilsner. Conditioning a Woodfordes Admiral's reserve and about to be bottled, a Coopers Mexican Cervesa.
As I had some success with these, I am thinking of attempting an all grain kit to emulate my favourite pint, Wadwo...
