I bought a used XCD 90V from a seller on FB marketplace. The shutter sound is really loud but I already knew it. Just for fun I looked at the leaf shutter while it fired and was shocked to see what looked like oily residue in the LS blades. Everyday objects can be seen in the context of what they do, or they are just seen for what they are. For example, I like to photograph calligraphic pens with the product of their use. I suppose this is a diletante's perspective on product photography. Any other interests out there?

I thought the 90V leaf shutter looks ugly on my copy. None of the other XCD lenses show this type of LS. I shot mine at 1/400 and recorded it in slow motion and caught the shutter as it closed and took a screen shot. I shared it with Hasselblad support thinking its going bad but they say this is normal and this is how it ships from the factory. I would love to see how yours look...
