The duty controller was contacted by a member of the public who had heard a sheep in distress whilst walking on Newby Moss. Upon investigating he found it to be stuck 10ft down a pothole about 30ft south of Fern Pot and so contacted the team to see if we could help. The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (f,64) attempting the Three Peaks walk who had gone over on her ankle and could not weight bare. After an assessment by team RRMTs we splinted her ankle and stretchered her down to Kingsdale, before transporting her to meet her friends in Clapham who took her to hospital for treatment.
