Paul McCartney has announced a book and exhibition featuring his photography from the 1960s. 1964: Eyes Of The Storm is a 336-page hardback book featuring 275 images taken by McCartney in Liverpool, London, Paris, New York, Washington, DC, and Miami. The images were from a collection of nearly 1,000 of photographs taken by McCartney with a 35mm camera, which was discovered in 2020. Paul McCartney is to release a singles box containing 159 tracks across 80 7″ singles. The 7″ Singles Box is limited to 3,000 copies worldwide, and each contains an additional test pressing and 148-page book, all held in an “FSC-approved Redwood pine and Birch Ply wooden art crate” made in the UK. It will be released on 2 December 2022. Despite the vast majority of the singles being available cheaply on the second-hand market, the box set will retail at £615/$600/€600. Update: All 3,000 box sets sold out by 10am the following day, less than 24 hours after the announcement.

The Beatles’ 1966 album Revolver is to be reissued in a range of special editions on 28 October 2022, featuring remixes and rarities. The flagship version will be a super deluxe edition, available as five-CD and four-LP plus 7″ vinyl combinations. Both will include 63 tracks and a 100-page hardback book. The edition will include a new stereo mix, original mono mix, 31 outtakes from the album sessions, and a four-song EP containing new stereo mixes and original mono mixes of ‘Paperback Writer’ and ‘Rain’. Paul McCartney’s self-titled solo albums McCartney (1970), McCartney II (1980), and McCartney III (2020), are to be reissued in three limited edition box sets on 5 August 2022.
