The Teachers' Union of Ireland (TUI) today described the findings of the PISA 2025 study as a resounding endorsement of the work in Irish school communities at a time when the country continues to underinvest in international terms.

TUI is balloting all members involved in the delivery of Senior Cycle, including members who could be required to deliver Senior Cycle, in response to the failure of the Department of Education and Youth and Government to honour in full the Senior Cycle Redevelopment Implementation Support Measures, SCRISM, collective agreement accepted by TUI members in May 2025.
