It was cold. An east wind, overcast sky and odd spells of sunshine, were perfect for fishing. I had an urge to fish the Abbey Beat on the Tavy.

Lunch

The mayfly have a civilised life cycle, the nymphs make their way to the surface around noon. The duns flutter into the air and head for the nearest vegetation. Early
