 I noticed that all my immediate neighbours are away today. This means I can take a few photos outdoors in the evening light without questions being asked. Although people are not especially nosey or lean over the wall to chat much, most of the partition between properties is glass and so there's no proper privacy ... unless they're out.

 I'm not sure how many people made it to Milano Pride at the weekend. According to the organisers, it was 350,000 like last year but the newspapers estimated it as a lot lower as temperatures of 40°C put people off. I tolerate heat well, but 40°C with a wig on is no joke and I wouldn't attempt it. All praise therefore to those who did venture out.

 I've had a number of comments and other communications over the last week relating to art. 

I used to do quite a lot of painting, drawing and some illustrating of books. A few items of mine have been published and I have taken part in various exhibitions, open days and so on. But I'm not going to 'out' myself by referring to those because I used my male name....
