Joanne Bertha Scales, 99, of Red Oak entered eternal rest Friday, May 1, 2026 at Chase City Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak with Rev. Michael Williams delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
