MORAGA, Calf. - After a 12-win campaign in 2025, the Saint Mary's women's soccer team returned to campus for its first week of training ahead of the 2026 season. The Gaels put together a historic season a year ago which included a program record seven West Coast Conference victories and a second place finish for their best WCC finish in over two decades.

It's a new era of Saint Mary's Men's Basketball! Coach Mickey McConnell has taken the reins of the program, and looks to lead the Gaels to their fifth straight West Coast Conference title, and sixth straight NCAA Tournament berth.

For the fourth consecutive year and the fifth time in the last six seasons, Saint Mary's Beach Volleyball has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award. The AVCA presents this award to any high school, junior college or four-year college volleyball team that maintains a year-long team GPA of at least 3.3. As the Gaels continue to prepare for the upcoming 2026-27 season, the Saint Mary's men's basketball program will host the new-look Pac-12's Utah State Aggies in an exhibition contest on Oct. 17 at University Credit Union Pavilion.
