Our shop was having an issue getting Engine Turn to print on our Gerber machines. We had tried double printing, which only worked after thoroughly cleaning the machine.

What was happing was a fish scale pattern from not properly laying down the foil. It caused unsightly peaks of thin gold circles across prints. We use Rtape, Vinylefx, or something like that.

We're having an issue with what looks like dust speckles on the media. But it's not dust! It's quite random, will be very bad then we'll run it a while and it will clear up. We were told it was a media issue but it's happening on various types of media.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hello, i have an XC540, It is currently configured in 6 colors (2x cmjnLcLm), and I would like to switch it to 4 colors (2x CMYK).
I know this is possible, how do I go about it please ?
