Does the effect of the head bob ranging technique vary with light conditions, as blur does?

I tried it once but didn’t get on with it so stuck to bracketing the kill, recent comps with non standard kill sizes have made me revisit the head bob technique, and I’ll be sussing it out it at the weekend. Mainly for use at 35-45yds.

I find anything below 80 yards is boring. 95-100 yards is usually my minimal in .177 distance. I get bored at 50 yards lol

Thanks for the quick acceptance to join the forum ….. after a sabbatical of nearly 25 years, have decided it’s again time to test myself on the range. Forgotten how far down the ground is …. And have to now remember which part of the vari-focal to look through, but club banter hasn’t changed and 30 year old Venom TX will still outshoot me! Sure I’ll be after 21st century updates!

I’m thinking of trading my Daystate Blackwolf in for a Steyr challenge , for those of you with a Steyr would you recommend one?
what are the pros and cons ?
are they good straight off the shelf?
