Sandro Tonali got to choose the song at Newcastle’s training ground ahead of the Champions League encounter with Barcelona, and AC Milan fans will be very familiar with his choice.

As Newcastle prepared for the game against Barcelona, which ended 1-1 after two late goals, journalists and media were present at the training ground to watch the English side. This is standard for Champions League, i.e. the media being invited to a training session.

As highlighted by TNT Sports, it was Tonali’s turn to choose the song during the team’s warm-up. He decided to go with the Ricchi e Poveri classic “Sarà perché ti amo”, which to Milan fans is known more as the “che confusione” chant.

While it could have been just because the original song is good (it is, we agree), one can’t help but think that Tonali chose the song to get some Milan vibes in the area. Either way, let’s hope we see him back in the red and black shirt one day.
