I have a 1989 45 c and can not find where the holding tank vents. Does anyone know, it’s not behind the closet in the v birth, or the galley cabinets. With the new standards for holding tanks treatments, I would like to install a vent filter but cant find it.

Good afternoon. The original hot water heater on our 1981 43c is need of replacing and I am wondering what replacement units everyone has had good success with as a direct replacement or as close to direct replacement as possible. The current unit is a 230v 11 gallon horizontal style that is secured to a piece of plywood positioned between the port engine and the hull.
