when a song is a guaguanco, what does this mean? what defines whether a song is a guaguanco, ie what would be the technical difference from a mambo etc?

for example when looking at album details on descarga.com, songs are listed as guaguanco's - i was wondering why they are guaguanco's

I'd love to know some more songs along the lines of

A la memoria del muerto - Piper Pimienta / Fruko y sus Tesos

with the prominent bass and general son sound to it (while still hitting hard). The closest I know is some of Henry Fiol's recordings, but while I love them they tend to be a bit more laid back and closer to old Cuban son.
