My sail ripped in two spots. I repaired it with waterproof clear tape and that is holding. But I'm dreaming of buying a new sail anyway. I hesitate because I suspect installing it is complicated. Is that true?

I recently ordered a laser deck plate for the outhaul/cunningham blocks from vela sailing and when it came in it did not have a laser logo etched on its surface like my old rusted one did. Or an ilca logo for that matter, as there is actually no marking on it at all. Is the unmarked replacement part considered class legal?

I just pulled out my laser my parents bought me in 1987 wheni was in junior high. It’s been stored for the last 25 years and now my kids are interested! So exciting, but I know I need to replace some lines, particularly vang, traveler and main sheet. I have no idea what sizes to get or what to search for on you tube since they make newer models now.
