Heavy rain forecast for later this morning so decided to go exploring. The marina is at the head of a 5 km inlet that is entered just off the main port of Dubrovnik. Yesterday- Tuesday- we walked up to the bus stop near the marina and caught the 1B into Old port. The bus was already full when we got on but I did get a seat. Working our way southish. The coast actually has more of a northwest- southeast alignment. The more prevailing winds are from the NE but the storms, which will become increasingly prevalent, come from the SE. The rest of the week we will see increasing southeaster with rain and thunderstorms so today is our window to make some southing then tuck in. Light to no wind predicted so...
