Police have closed part of a busy Brampton street after a vehicle crashed into a light post in Brampton.

The single-vehicle collision happened near the intersection of Queen Street and James Street, Peel Regional Police say. A vehicle crashed into a light pole, and police have closed westbound Queen Street down to one lane.

No injuries have been reported.
