So i draw a bad map and such that a character in the game is giving to my party of the first floor of a place they are going. i bad it on paint. but when i put it into my game the white background turns to transparent. which is in the pictures i posted. i also took it to gimp and made a second layer under the current and made it white and merged the two layers together. not sure...

There's so many options. I recently published my first ever game as part of a game jam, and only after having my first project up did I realize RMMZ needed a lot of work to make it enjoyable.

So, I'm working on my first game, and I just playtested it, but for some reason the maps in game are far darker than they are when I'm editing them! It's only the maps, the menus look normal, including the pause button in the top right, so it really is just the maps. I tried turning HDR off, but it didn't work.
Please help me out if you can, I can't find a good answer anywhe...
