Race 1 - 1:45PM ELDERS LIVESTOCK BATHURST HUGH BOWMAN COUNTRY BOOSTED SHOWCASE MAIDEN PLATE (1400 METRES)

10. May The Force raced on the speed when resuming and held on well at big odds to finish third at Scone. She followed that up with a fifth at the same track and looks suited in this company. She gets her chance to break her maiden. 8. Miss Maverick ran a solid third at Mudgee at her latest start and while she’s had plenty of chances she shouldn’t be underestimated. 4. Avignon was beaten less than a length when a last start third at Bathurst and can be prominent again with a repeat of that performance. 6. Harlem Tickle comes here on the back of a last start fourth at Goulburn and she can be thereabouts if she’s at her best.

Race 2 - 2:20PM JEREMY BOOTH CONSTRUCTIONS RISING PRINCE CUP SHOWCASE SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

2. Ballet Noir was on debut when performing well at Newcastle when finishing second. She ran home well in that event and with the benefit of that experience she can go one better in this event. 1. Macaroon is a mare on debut and won her latest trial at Warwick Farm. She should play a strong hand in the finish. 8. That’sallshewrote has run well in both starts to date with a debut fourth at Kembla Grange and a third at the same track. Another forward showing is on the cards. 5. Prince Of Verona is on debut after a number of trials and warrants respect.

Race 3 - 2:55PM AGRI WEST/ GRAINFORCE BILL ASPROS CUP BENCHMARK 58 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

2. Honey Slider ran a good race when finishing third at Gunnedah before hitting the line well to score a last start victory at Narromine. He gets his chance to go on with the job here. 1. Jazz All Knight ran a better race when fifth at Goulburn when last produced and on best form would loom as a chance. 4. Ole Miss hasn’t raced since April when finishing third at Tamworth and she’s had two trials to prepare for this first-up assignment. 5. Fawlty Affairs did the job well to score a last start Bathurst win, and he can figure prominently again on the strength of that victory.

Race 4 - 3:35PM CM STEEL & RURAL P/L THE BARB IDA TRAILL BENCHMARK 58 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

9. The Confidante was in winning form when scoring at Forbes last month and has since followed a fourth at Narromine with a second at Moree. He’s racing well enough to be in the thick of things again. 6. Yorkel resumed from a spell with a close-up fourth at Mudgee and should be better for that run.10. Sunday has finished second in three of her past four starts and can figure again. 3. Western Warrior hasn’t been far away of late and can show up against these.

Race 5 - 4:10PM THE KINGS HOTEL BATHURST CUP (1800 METRES)

*BIG DANCE ELIGIBILITY*

1. Inquiring Minds had been down on form in a couple of city runs before having a trial and then showing improvement with a last start fourth at Randwick behind King Of The Sea. He is a handy type at his best and this looks a suitable race for him to get back into winning form. 3. Forbidden Riff has been racing well with seconds at Canterbury and Warwick Farm either side of a sixth at Randwick. He looms as the hardest to beat. 5. Southerly Buster had been racing well with a Tamworth win and a couple of seconds at Newcastle and Kembla Grange before a seventh at Rosehill. 8. Michelangelo was just behind the placings in a couple of city runs before a 10th at Randwick and will find this an easier task.

Race 6 - 4:45PM THE PANORAMA (1300 METRES)

6. Crusader Kings was in form at the end of last campaign with a win at Dubbo and a second in the Southern Wild Card of the Country Championships at Goulburn. He won a trial before resuming at Dubbo last Monday and scoring a narrow win. He’s on the quick back-up and can be in the finish again. 7. Everido won well at Kembla Grange two starts ago and then ran eighth at Canterbury. This suits much better. 10. Atmospheric Rock ran home well to score at Forbes before a third on the Acton track at Canberra and he should be hitting the line well here. 13. Ishikari ran well when a last start third at Rosehill and can be in the finish again.

How to play it: Crusader Kings WIN.

Race 7 - 5:20PM MBA WEALTH SOLUTIONS GOLD CIRCLE CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1100M)

7. Bushwalker is resuming from a spell having not started since finishing fifth at Mudgee back in February. She was consistent without winning at the back end of her last campaign and there’s no reason she can’t sprint well fresh here. 6. The Glen won a maiden at Goulburn in April and then ran fourth at the same track before a second at Queanbeyan. He resumes from a spell here and can be prominent on his best form. 5. Chamber Of Secrets is also first-up from a spell, and she’s shown enough in her career to suggest she’ll take plenty of beating. 3. Street Skater was a Narromine winner last December and hasn’t raced since a seventh at Orange later that month. A bold first-up showing is on the cards.
