This will be our first off road race as a team. Trying to get some experience for the 2027 Baja 1000. Are teams staying in San Quitin and just carting their stuff down there from Ensenada?

Looking for pros and cons. I don't know the San Quitin area at all.

How is 5/1600 class? Car counts? Is it worth getting into the class? Series? Any lessons learned or solid advice? Good parts provider, etc.? Thanks in advance
