Ok y'all, I don't understand. I have an ASROCK B550M ITX/AC that currently has a Ryzen 3 3200G, an XFX Speedster QICK 308 Black Radeon 7600, 16 gigs of DDR4-3200 and a 450W corsair power supply. For context I was sick and went in a coughing fit I ended up spitting sweet tea all over both my monitors, luckily one of mine survived, my second monitor.

I have been needing an upgrade and my main monitor was a 75hz 1080p monitor which did me well but I've always wanted to see the hype on a high refresh rate 1440p, and holy moly I get it.

I'm looking to build a new PC and could use some advice. My budget is around €1000, without a GPU, since I'll be using my GTX 1070 for now and plan to upgrade to a 9070 XT in the near future.

Title says it all. I've had this build for a few years, and I was decently satisfied with it at the time. However, I want a smoother and more powerful gaming experience. Is this build upgradable in any sufficient way, or would I be better off starting from scratch? I know the GPU can be stronger, but I would prefer to focus more on the CPU to start:

I plan on doing an itx build with some parts I have lying around and I have an i5-11600k that has barely been used but since the LGA1200 socket itx motherboards are hard to find I was wondering how worth it is to just get a ryzen 5600 instead.

For some xtra context:

the ryzen 5600 is ~130 USD + motherboard = ~220 USD

For lga1200 motherboards all the ones ...
