Depth tested by placing large dinner plate + sized bits of slate from a mullock heap on top of target & comparing signal to ground 1 m to side until just get a signal you would stop for. ID depth tested by covering target with slate slabs until just detectable then removing slabs until just get ID then remove more until get Jackpot tone from the Echowave.
