I did not hear updates on Aurora Store’s security recently. It is still recommended by Privacy Guides.

Aurora Store is not the most secure app store. It is in fact less secure than Google Play or Accrescent for instance. It is thus more likely to be hacked, to deliver compromised apps or misfunctionning. You have to decide if you can accept that risk.
