I have a Brother MFC-L8690CDW laser printer.

I loaded the Brother printer software and drivers from the CD disk that Brother supplied with the printer many years ago. Hi everyone

Just thought I would drop this here... it's not entirely done but when it is I will provide instructions. This is on LINUX but python is very portable
The "generate" and "profile" portions are not done.. those are the easiest to do. Having the software read the row layout correctly and having it talk to chartread was difficult.

I bought a Canon printer that uses the PG-560 and CL-561 integrated cartridges, with print head and nozzles on the ink tanks. (The cartridges look the same as the PG-540, PG-545 and so on that are used for some other printers.) My plan was to refill them and use them for a long time.
