Back in 1974/5 228OCU (Phantom F4 ) was awarded the Wilkinson Battle of Britain Memorial Sword trophy for a submission to the annual contest for contributions to tactics etc. Try as I might I cannot find any reference on the internet to it. 228OCU was awarded the prize again in the late 1980s for being jolly good chaps but the earlier award has been erased from history.
