Three up Three down. The WST is installed and works as advertised. It works fine as a steering toggle , it’s comfortable and requires less pressure than the brakes. BUT… it won’t turn a big tandem wing into an acro glider. It was a worthy experiment and I think I’ll be using the WST a lot.
The next mod is going to be a better way to close the trimmers.
After several adjustments I have finally got the wing tip steering toggle installed and tested. The WST attaches at the top of main brake line cascade, BR6.
It currently has about 12 inches of slack before it engages the wing putting the toggle in a very comfortable position about mid chest. It feels good but limits how much I can warp the tip. I’m going to shorten ...
