I love Forrest Frank. His upbeat, sometimes rap or R&B, usually pop songs, are very encouraging and great to sing along to. This one is a bit different than the rest of the songs he typically produces, but it is so powerful.

I am writing again! And that’s a good thing. Writing poetry for me is definitely something that ebbs and flows. I will have seasons where I can write 3, 5, 7 or more poems in a single day and the creative juices are flowing. In other seasons, I feel a bit bored of writing and not into it, so trying to pick up a pen and notebook to write feels more like a chore.

sauteed peppers
caramelized onions
softened celery
fragrant seasonings
add a zing to a plump chicken cutlet
when you welcome guests
that smell says
