I had my main shut-off valve replaced a few months back. The plumber soldered a new valve on the existing 1" pipe, but the new joint leaked, so they had to cut it off and re-solder.

The soldered joins holds just fine, but the valve itself is leaking at its seam where the two halves of the body connect. (See the second picture.)

Started having a problem with finding the pump running but no water pumping. I turn the pump off and back on after 20 - 30 seconds and all is well, plenty of water and full pressure. I may find the pressure close to 45 or close to 60 psi or anywhere in between when it happens. Turning off and on always corrects the issue and tank pressures up to 60psi. Occasionally have to do it...

Hi guys, when using cement board, how do you waterproof around the fittings and bibs? She picked up this weird 3-function shower system and it seems like the measurements have to be more exact than my knowledge permits, so I opened up the back wall and I can finish the setup from the back. But how to waterproof around them?
