I have an old Direct Logic 05 D0-05DR plc. it's communication port is a RJ12 that needs to be connected to a pc serial port by DB9 connector. since on modern pc's there isn't a serial port, I would like to ask if there is a way to connect it via the USB port. is there an adapter or you can address me to a scematic diagram of such a circuit that enables to make such a connection ...

We have some really outdated systems in our facility and one of which is an old pa06-133 hmi connected to a Parker 6k4 motion plc.

When I made the upgrade for short term production uptime I was under the impression that the newer PA206 could run projects developed for older Hmis if I pulled the program from the original one and re-deployed it...
