Hey everyone,

I just got a brand new PS5 Pro and I’m experiencing a really annoying issue. Most of the time when I turn it on, I hear a high-pitched shriek coming from the console literally the moment it powers on. Unintended Consequences of Getting Suspended (and what PSN needs to fix)
I'm not here to complain about getting suspended on PSN. Regardless of the preamble, technically, I said something I shouldn't have and I got communication banned on PSN for 7 days.

You'd like to think, "Oh, no big deal, I just can't message people or start parties". That seems to be the intended/expected behavior there. You'd be wrong.

PlayStation store on PS3
For those that dont know, the PlayStation store on the PS3 is still open

Sony was planning to shut it down back in 2021-right along with Microsoft and Nintendo with their online console stores

But, public demand kept it open. As of Feb 2026, its still open.

So, if you still have a PS3 that you haven't used in a a while, might be worth a chance to fire...
