Take me to the other world Not beyond the sky above But beyond the walls of thinking That I've carried long enough Take me to the other world Where certainty gives way To a deeper kind of understanding That no words can fully say

O dear love, where are you now? Where does your gentle spirit wander? Do you hear me calling through the dark, Or has the distance pulled you farther? I search the valleys and the skies, I search the silence of the years. Your memory shines before my eyes, A light that glimmers through my tears.

Freedom and security, Two wings upon the open sky, One lets the human spirit soar, One helps it reach the mountains high. Freedom and security, The heart and shelter of our days, Together they can light the world, And guide us through uncertain ways.

We're riding the midnight circuit, Beyond the edge of time, Floating through electric oceans, Following invisible lines. We're riding the midnight circuit, Where memory becomes light, Holding onto distant echoes, In the center of the night.

Oh winter, carry me away, Across the fields of gray, Where minstrels sang by firelight glow In years of long ago. Oh winter, keep the stories bright, Through every frozen night, And let the hearts of old remain Within the falling snow.
